Today, the business is run by the Egger family in its third generation – with dedication, experience, and a clear commitment to quality.

To ensure maximum freshness, we rely on efficient transport logistics – so that our fruit, vegetables, and herbs reach our customers as quickly and gently as possible.
A central part of our range is apples from South Tyrol – complemented by selected fruit and vegetables from all over Italy. The result is the typical Hebofrut freshness.
We offer a wide variety of apple types – organic on request (ABCERT: IT BIO 013). Our product range also includes plums, pears, berries, radicchio Trevisano, and cauliflower – conventionally and organically grown.

South Tyrolean Origin and Quality
South Tyrol offers ideal conditions for growing apples of the highest quality. This region in northern Italy lies in the Alps and benefits from around 300 days of sunshine per year, large temperature differences, and well-distributed rainfall – perfect conditions for aromatic, sugar-rich fruit.
The apple orchards are located between 220 and 1,100 meters above sea level. Cultivation is done by small-scale farms averaging two hectares – where every tree is known by the farmer. Work is done with precision, experience, and respect for nature.
Traceability is central to us: from the finished apple back to the original field, every step is documented. We guarantee the highest hygiene standards and strictly comply with all food safety regulations.
